WMS for an Online Electronics store

Company Background:

The company, which we will refer to as the evolving Startup for E-commerce is a large distributor of consumer electronics and appliances, with multiple warehouses across the country. They had been using a legacy warehouse management system for several years, but the system was outdated and could not keep up with the company’s growth. Online Electronics store decided to invest in a new WMS that could handle their current and future needs.

Implementation:

Online Electronics store began by evaluating several WMS providers and ultimately chose a cloud-based solution that could integrate with their existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The implementation process took several months and involved the following steps:
